A prototype business brand named Italorigo for the export of high-quality, B2B "Made in Italy" agrifood products. The brand's core mission is to certify product authenticity through rigorous control and analysis, ensuring a high standard for the end client.
The brand's storytelling is designed to convey the importance of land, environment, and culture, utilizing figures from Greco-Roman mythology to echo tradition and knowledge, creating a deep narrative around the products' origins.
Logo design & Conceptual storytelling
The Italorigo logo is a conceptual icon, merging the Greek letter Delta with a leaf to communicate the excellent and guaranteed agricultural origin of Italian products. This visual identity is built on a narrative that connects the land and its culture, using mythological figures like Bacchus (for wine), Minerva (for olive oil), and Ceres (for pasta) to represent the products' core values and history.
Mythological packaging & Product identity
The packaging design is a key element of the brand's storytelling. The wine carton features Caravaggio's Bacchus, symbolizing pleasure and harvest. For olive oil, the label portrays Minerva and Nettuno, with Minerva representing loyalty and the olive tree itself. The pasta packaging uses paintings of Ceres, the Roman goddess of fertility and crops. This intricate design choice, combined with modern elements like a 3D ennobled icon, guarantees a high-end and culturally rich product identity.
