Bubble is a music managerial game where players act as "FantaManagers," creating their own record label and competing against others. The gameplay involves collecting, training, and personalizing artist cards, each with unique abilities and rarities, to win exclusive prizes and climb the ranks of the "Grattacielo della Major."
The game is a music-tech startup that offers a new ecosystem for both established and emerging artists. Featuring over 150 artists with a combined total of over 2 billion Spotify streams, Bubble provides a platform for fan engagement, seasonal content, and a marketplace for discovering and supporting new musical talent.
UX/UI & Design System
The project involved the user experience and interface design for Bubble, a strategic musical managerial game. The work covered the entire process, from research and defining user flows to visual design and coordinating with the technical team. Key responsibilities included conducting UX analysis and gathering feedback for product optimization, designing the functional and visual aspects of the app for both mobile and browser platforms, and creating the high-fidelity design system and interfaces.
Gameplay mechanics & Player engagement
In Bubble, players manage artists, using Vinyls, Stickers, XP and Equipments to upgrade cards and build competitive rosters. Weekly and monthly competitions are driven by real metrics like streams, followers, social engagement, creating strategic gameplay. The design emphasizes rewarding progression, clear feedback and meaningful interaction, showcasing a system that connects in-game decisions to real-world music impact.
