Cloudata, founded in Belluno, Italy in 2021 by IT professionals with over 20 years of experience, specializes in IT consulting and security. Their vision emphasizes operational information and a "learning by doing" approach, guiding partners towards conscientious and secure practices.
In 2019, Cloudata expanded into cloud computing with significant investments in their Padua infrastructure, enhancing expertise in cloud, IT security, backup, and disaster recovery. By 2020, they introduced roles to develop IT plans for managing and protecting sensitive customer data in compliance with GDPR.
Strategic brand positioning & New identity
This branding project for Cloudata focused on establishing a strong brand position and crafting a new identity. Following an in-depth brief with IT consultants, the initial focus was on naming, aiming to create a link between "data" and "cloud" while conveying values such as bond, strength, and resilience. The resulting brand representation was designed for various online and offline supports, leading to several logo versions for comprehensive application.
Monogram design & Visual language
The Cloudata logo is a monogram, designed to visually connect the business areas of data and cloud, forming a "whirl-link" effect. Its icon version, when used individually, clearly expresses depth and simplicity through its lines. A sans-serif font was specifically chosen to reinforce identification with the IT sector and maximize readability. The logo was subsequently softened for refined aesthetics. This deliberate visual language aims to build trust and clearly communicate Cloudata's core competencies.
