Innovation Tracker is a SaaS platform designed to help companies track and accelerate internal innovation. The product serves three distinct user types, Innovation Manager, Gracer and Admin, each with their own dashboard, flows and responsibilities. The design challenge was to map an entirely new system from a post-feedback task list, with no existing UX foundation.
The process started from a 30+ task document covering new features, UX corrections and critical gaps including a respondent screen that had never been designed. Every decision was documented with component specs, copy references and developer notes, producing a complete design mapping ready for Figma and handoff.
From Claude to Figma Make - Rapid MVP Mapping
The entire UX mapping was built using Claude as a co-pilot: navigating the existing Figma prototype, cross-referencing the task list and producing frame-by-frame specs with copy, components and developer notes. Interactive HTML wireframes were generated directly in chat to validate layout decisions before opening Figma. The output was then imported into Figma Make to rapidly assemble the first navigable prototype, compressing weeks of work into a focused design sprint.
High-Fidelity Wireframes & Handoff
With the structure validated, each frame was rebuilt in Figma at high fidelity following the component system already established in the base file. The mapping covered 40+ frames across three user types, including new flows for the Setup Wizard, Survey Builder, AI Analytics, Respondent screen and Admin dashboard. Every frame includes annotation layers with component specs, interaction notes and references to the Modals section for developer handoff.
